DMCA Copyright Policy
We respect intellectual property rights and respond promptly to valid copyright notices.
Last updated: June 1, 2026
1Overview
mp4mp3.download respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our Service to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA") and equivalent international copyright legislation, we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to our designated copyright agent.
Important note about our technical architecture: mp4mp3.download is a processing tool that fetches and relays publicly available content from third-party platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter). We do not host or store video files on our servers. All content remains on and is delivered from the original platform. To remove content at its source, rightsholders should contact the original hosting platform directly.
2What We Can Do
While we do not host content, we can take the following actions in response to verified DMCA notices:
- URL blocking: We can add specific video URLs to a blocklist, preventing our Service from processing download requests for that URL.
- Account actions: If a user is found to be systematically using our Service to download and redistribute copyrighted content, we may block their access.
- Forwarding: We can forward your notice to the appropriate platform (YouTube, Meta, TikTok, etc.) to assist in the removal of the content at the source.
3Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content accessible through our Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated DMCA agent containing all of the following information, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):
- Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the infringing material: The specific URL(s) of the content on our Service that you believe infringes your copyright, sufficient to allow us to locate the material.
- Your contact information: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Good faith statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy statement: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Physical or electronic signature: A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright that is allegedly infringed.
4How to Submit Your Notice
Submit your DMCA takedown notice by email to our designated copyright agent:
DMCA Agent — mp4mp3.download
Email: dmca@mp4mp3.download
Subject line must include: "DMCA Takedown Notice"
We will acknowledge receipt within 2 business days and aim to process all valid notices within 5–7 business days. Incomplete notices that do not satisfy the statutory requirements may not be acted upon.
5Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed or blocked as a result of a mistaken or misidentified DMCA notice, you may file a counter-notification with our DMCA agent. Your counter-notification must include: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the blocked material; (3) a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification; and (4) your name, address, and telephone number, along with a statement consenting to jurisdiction. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the blocked URL if the complainant does not file a court action within 10 business days.
6Repeat Infringers
It is our policy, in appropriate circumstances and in our sole discretion, to disable or block access to the Service for users who are repeat infringers of copyright. We take copyright infringement seriously and will cooperate with rightsholders and law enforcement as required by law.
7Misrepresentation Warning
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that content is infringing, or that content was removed due to mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Please do not submit false DMCA notices.
